Slow, shared days: enjoying an oxtail potjie around the fire pit

The summer of 2019-2020 was a great one at Devonport House. We were privileged to welcome and host guests from all over the world. Occupancy was high and Cape Town marvelled and inspired us all with what she has to offer.

We stayed at Devonport House for 3 nights in March 2024.From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home, warmly welcomed and shown around the beautiful house and grounds. Our large room had a beautiful view overlooking the pool and countryside beyond. A GEM IN CONSTANTIA

We spent nearly a week at Devonport house and loved every minute. It is a beautiful place with comfortable rooms, an abundance of communal space, delicious breakfasts and most of all really lovely hosts.
